"My husband and I recently boarded our dog Fly with Pooched! while we organized a cross-country move. In the midst of a stressful and busy time, Vanessa and her husband were so understanding and really went above and beyond to work with us. We really liked the fact that Pooched! is an at-home boarding facility and that our dog was going to be treated like a member of their family for the week we were away. We also liked the fact that they don't take in a ton of dogs at once and really make an effort to provide individual one-on-one time for their boarders. Their home is immaculate, well-cared for and they have a huge back yard with a high fence - perfect for the dogs to romp around together during their frequent supervised play-times. We received e-mail updates - complete with professional-looking pictures of our pup having an absolute blast and detailed info regarding how he was adjusting/eating/sleeping/etc. After a day of playing and romping around, our dog was allowed to sleep on their couch in the evening (just like at home!) and snuggle in his dog bed at night...just steps from people. Fly turned 1 year old the week that he was boarded and Vanessa and her husband spoiled him rotten! He wore a little birthday hat (for our benefit, I'm sure!), feasted like a little king on a big homemade dog biscuit and played outside with his buddies all day. There are only pro's and absolutely no cons when it comes to Pooched! They are incredibly professional, obviously love their job and are so good with the dogs. It was so reassuring to know that our dog was being so well cared for while we were away...at one point, we were a little worried that he wouldn't want to come back home with us!
